Introduction to  making your memories a present

We at Phix-Pix believe that as we go through life creating magical moments turning them into memories. The journey is often documented by photographs immortalising our youth, special occasions, relatives, pets all preserved in our treasured album.

But there is always that one photograph that stands out from the rest that has been loved so much it is now worn and torn and patched with sticky tape. These are the photographs that symbolises your loved one, and now its time to give that image a bit of care and restoration.

The original picture has faded by exposure to direct sun light and has dried out so much that the image under the glass has flaked off heavily should the glass be removed the picture would disintegrate. I once saw Tommy perform at the Kings Theatre (The Funniest thing I have ever seen) . Back inn the Day big names starring at the Kings would often stay at the Queens Hotel.

While browsing a Car boot sale I found a Wooden Box where in were 100 glass plate Negatives from the Edwardian era circa 1917. I bought them for just £10 not knowing what do do with them, I later created a modern technique to digitally convert them to positive digital images and one by one restored them all please see Gallery below.
